Kingsmead Field Community Bench!  

Local dog-walkers have donated a bench to Kingsmead Field to provide somewhere for people to relax and watch the river or admire the views over to the Cathedral.

In the days when the field was used as a cricket pitch, there were benches around the field for people to sit and watch the games, but in recent years these have been sadly absent.  

The community bench is sited by one of the large willow trees overlooking the river.  We are aiming to get 100 photos of people sitting on the bench to create a huge photo montage.
