The Field has a bench (and it's an official one!)
In a dramatic about-turn, Canterbury City Council has returned our wooden bench to us and replaced it with a park bench.
The park bench is huge and it's in the right place - beneath the old willow tree, at the top of the riverbank, with super views over the field towards the Cathedral.
It is a symbol of hope as it's the first recreational investment that the Council has made on the field for many years. We hope that it will be the first of many. It's a small, but significant, step forward.
