URGENT:  EXECUTIVE FORCED TO RECONSIDER ITS DECISION!

Canterbury City Council's highly controversial plan to appropriate Kingsmead Field for housing will be reconsidered by the Executive at its meeting next Monday evening (12 November).  This is the result of the Scrutiny Committee's decision to challenge the plan on the grounds of non-compliance with Council policy, notably the Open Space Strategy and the Kingsmead Development Brief. 

The Executive meeting will be held in the Guildhall (entrance to Westgate Gardens, Canterbury) and commence at 6.30pm.  The meeting is open to the public.
